The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor Continuing Education rule was adopted on April 11, 2005 by the TDLR Commissioners. These rules became effective on June 1, 2005 and effected those licensees expiring on or after January 1, 2006. Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor licensees must complete eight (8) hours of continuing education in courses approved by the department, including two hours of instruction in Texas state laws and rules that regulate the conduct of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractors.
